"There is much debate about one-off houses in a rural setting. This house answers most of the issues involved. Existing hedgerows screening is exploited; the site contours are responded to and the arrangement of floor plans, sections and views are of a high standard – well above the bungalow blight of most single houses. There is an attention to detail and a craftsmanship rarely found in similar settings or building types."

Winner AAI Award, for our project The Cigar Box offices and apartments, Dublin
"I like this project. It is an intelligent use of a restricted piece of land in its
Georgian Dublin context. And an interesting typology has been given to the apartments
themselves"
