DBA are currently composed of 10 architectural staff and 2 administrative staff. From a client’s perspective, we are an ideal size practice. We have the manpower to tackle the largest developments but are of a size that the Principal can oversee all projects to maintain a strict quality control and can report to and liaise directly with the client. We have a stable core of young, committed architects, one of whom has recently graduated, (with Distinction), the Fire Safety Practice Post-Graduate Diploma course at Trinity College and a number of whom have returned to the practice following periods of work or study abroad. Each main building project is allocated to a team comprised of a number of Architects working with a Senior Architect and the Principal. This ensures for the client a necessary responsiveness to decision-making and a ready pool of staff for discussion or comment on any aspect of the Design process. Underpinning this system, as noted above, is the experience and availability of the Principal.
